Really loved your definition of being barefoot. Sometimes, I believe that we DO have to give ourselves permission to live that “dream life.” Thanks for opening the awareness around what is the ideal life for me.

Carrie – this is awesome. LOVE your definition of barefoot. I am not southern (in fact I am in central Canada) but I, too, enjoy the barefoot business lifestyle – figuratively and literally!
Cheers to you for creating the life YOU want to live. I am pleased to say that after a lot of trial, hard work, and determination that I am doing the same.

Great example of clarifying your big picture vision and what it looks like to you. I’m more a flip flop, bikini executive but I will spare everyone the visuals on that. I think I just work and think better outdoors beside the pool. If I’m happy, I’m creating better stuff and contributing more to the world. That’s what it’s all about.

I am working on that right now. In 45 days I move to Florida and I plan to make that home base for my business. What my barefoot looks like is simple: harmony between work and life. That means that some days like today, it is 1 AM and I am working on my dream and other days, like tomorrow, I am spending the day with my family. It means that some days I do a lot of reading, others I write for five or six hours. It means that I am beginning to figure out this web 2.0 and the advantages of twitter, facebook and youtube. It means that I am working with others to make my dreams come true and help them achieve theirs. It also means keeping my eyes on you because you are one of my role models. Keep up the good work.
